Emergency First Response (EFR)
is an organisation that offers a variety of cutting edge, state-of-the-art training
programmes in
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
(CPR), Automated External Defibrillation (AED) and
First Aid
that meet global standards.
From a medical basis, EFR follows internationally recognised guidelines
produced by practicing emergency medical professionals. It is supported by the Basic
Life Support working group of the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation
ILCOR.
EFR programmes follow the priority of care used by professional
emergency care providers.
Educationally, the Emergency First Response programs are well-researched and of
instructional design. Studies in first aid training call for simpler, objective
oriented and media based course. Research shows that too much information and demand
for perfection results in poor performance and lower retention.
The EFR training programs adopt a flexible approach to accommodate different learning
styles and needs. They incorporate graphic rich self-study materials, demonstrations
on video, positive reinforcement, self-discovery and group practice.
First Aid Greece are fully authorised to teach
EFR training programmes in
Greece and are a recognised
Work Place training facility.
