Emergency First Response
(EFR) is the fastest-growing
international
CPR, AED
and First Aid training
organisation in
the world gaining widespread international acceptance. It has more than 31,000 instructors
worldwide and is backed by 36 years of experience in the development and delivery
of instructional courses, training materials and educational curricula.
Training Location
Our training space ensures a comfortable and safe learning environment
to enable students to learn and practice new skills at their own speed.
We also offer on-site training where we come to you! On-site first aid training
can be tailored to the specific needs of individuals or businesses and carries the
advantage of learning in a real working environment. To deliver on-site training
we require a room large enough to accommodate the students attending the course
- typically 6 to 12 people with enough floor space for practical work.
It goes without saying that you will receive the same high standard of training
whether on-site or at our first aid training centre.
The EFR course curriculum is based on patient care standards as published in the
American Heart Association (AHA) Guidelines Standards
for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care, and the consensus
view of the Basic Life Support (BLS) Working Group of the International Liaison
Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR).
ILCOR
is an international standards group representing most of the world's major
resuscitation organisations such as the
European Resuscitation
Council. Read more about how this
first aid course is recognised worldwide.
Focused on training the inexperienced rescuer, the EFR approach to training builds
confident first aiders
, increasing their willingness to respond when faced with a
medical emergency by teaching them the
skills
they need in a non-stressful learning environment. Participants are also given as
much practice as necessary to master and retain these skills including CPR and
AED.
