HeartSine have developed an innovative solution to low cost maintenance of AED's by incorporating the AED electrodes and batteries into a single use cartridge - the HeartSine PAD PAK. The HeartSine PAD PAK has one expiry date to monitor and replace where as other AED's use separate Electrodes and Batteries meaning two expiry dates to monitor and a higher cost.
The HeartSine Adult Pad-Pak is suitable for use on adults and children of 8 years and older, and weighing more than 25kg.
Each Pad-Pak has an industry-first four-year life, and provides 60 shocks or six hours of continuous monitoring. When battery power is down to ten shocks or less, the HeartSine samaritan PAD emits an audible beep.
The HeartSine Adult Pad-Pak is grey in colour, and slots easily in to the back of the AED.
